chances are good that you have never heard of murfreesboro, tennessee. it’s a semi-suburb of nashville on i-24 southeast of town and also home to middle tennessee state university. the only reason i happen to know this is that the course of my life has taken me up and down i-24 between nashville and chattanooga more times that i care to contemplate.
