we’ve got a little controversy brewing here on the #140. apparently one of our regular riders attempted to board the bus with no money on her card. she didn’t want to have to pay until she got to the station and the driver wouldn’t let her do it. now the trick here is you have to pay for two trips if you load on the bus because they don’t do transfers. anyway, she got into a major argument with him and told him the other drivers let her do it. now she has been speaking very loud from the back of the bus.
“i know my rights,” seems to be one of her favorite.
she has also been threatening to call marta and making sure the bus driver knows she knows he is bus 2411.
she is on the phone back there with marta customer service now and they are telling her the same thing. she has just hung up defeated and is now telling the whole world about her experience.
just another day on the rails.
